1984 Derbi Variant
submitted by Bob Smiley
I lightened up the variator for the hills and bored out the stock cylinder about 1/4+ inches, using a Suzuki RM-60 piston and a non-grooved C-5 head which I flipped 180 degrees. Displacement is about 67.5 cc's. It has a hand made 15mm Dellorto/intake manifold also. This thing is a hill climbing, tree stump puller! It will haul my fat arse + someone like me up the steep hills on Catalina Island all day! Note the side baskets for runs to the store!
