I purchased my first moped, a 1980 Gadabout w/ a Minarelli V1 engine, from Devin Biek of Motion Left Mopeds in July of 2009. Ever since then I became completely obsessed with my moped and have quickly fallen in love with the members of the Motion Left branch. They are basically my new second family.
I'm still learning how to work on my own bike. So far (as of Oct 5, 2009) I have mastered the carburetor (Dellorto) and can take apart my wheels and clean and re-pack the bearings.
I will be powder coating my Gaddy this winter! <3
I have yet to attend my first rally, but look forward to spring/summer 2010 as that will be when finally get to attend some.
