Most allthread (threaded rod) you would get from a hardware store is not hardened and can easily bend or break. You are much better off buying a piece of cold rolled steel rod in the right diameter and threading it yourself. The other option would be to post in the buy/sell section and try to get the genuine part. I'm pretty sure all the tube frame bikes had the same length rod so it should not b

Not that I really give a shit or anything, but the biggest gear that will even fit an E50 with out heavy modding is a 20t and that still takes grinding. I doubt by looking at the rest of the build he would have the skill to make it fit. Not to mention the 15 bing and a stock pipe. I call bullshit. The only way that bike did near 60 was in the back of the car it came home in.

If you let off the throttle going down hill the engine is only running on the idle circuit of the carb. On a high performance motor you can easily seize it.
