Port Matching n00b ?'s
I was just looking for some basic information on port matching my stock e50 cylinder this winter while I can't ride. Keep in mind I'm not going to be doing this anytime soon, probably sometime in January so I completely understand what I'm doing.
Some of my first questions are so I'm clear on what I will be doing. When you port match the intake and exhaust ports you match the outside of the cylinder to the size of the intake/exhaust header, correct? Then you make a gradual slope towards the inside of the cylinder and keep the inside of the port the same exact size right?
Is there any other basic information or terminology I should be aware of?
