gila - weird idle - air leak?
rebuilt e50
gila kit
tm24
destroyer
i'm having trouble maintaining a steady idle once my bike is warm.
the idle isn't changing at all as the bike sits but if get into high revs and then come to a stop, the idle takes a bit to settle and when it evens out it's idling higher than i had it set at before.
can correct it by turning the idle screw out and back but it just happens again the next time i stop
think it must be an air leak but i've hit every mating surface with carb cleaner many many times and the motor hasn't stuttered a bit. no visible gasket leaks at all either, all real clean.
running the stock idle jet (12.5 i think?). i know a lot of people running this set up are running a 10 idle... maybe that's the problem?
