Moped Army

My piston has the pins for the ring gaps to be on top of the piston, and they are right in line with the intake port. This does not seem right, won't this cause problems down the road ie. rings getting binded up on the intake port. I thought the pins where supposed to be located in places where they don't cross any ports, am I wrong? Could these have been put in the wrong spot? Polini for NOI is what I'm talking about
