Moped Army

So I've read about the heads for the NC50, well not the ones "for" the NC50 (As in Stock) but the ones that will fit it. If some of you have read my other posts you know I'm in the middle of trying to make an awesome custom bike... I have alot of the parts and this past weekend I decided to hit Ebay for head shopping.

I bought a spree head. Then 5 minutes later I read about the lack of cooling... so It will not be used.

I bought a PA50 head... with the valve in the combustion chamber. I have been reading and it seems as if these are the popular choice among Honda fans.

I have some questions about the head tho!

1. Do I need the lever for the de-compression... it just has the valve... just a stem coming out of the topside of the head.

2. Would you and CAN you port it to match your 70cc kit? I dunno if the valve makes that impossible or not. If you can port it, would you make it larger overall or do the squish band?

3, Would powder coating the outside of a head help heat dissipation? I know they coat exhaust headers so it would kinda makes sense... right? Or would it hold the heat in??
