Moped Army

so it's a stock maxi, only aftermarket is the tecno bullet that is currently on the bike. i've been reading that the tecno circuit has better low-mid power, good for acceleration etc. the bullet is OK but is pretty sluggish from a full stop, which is kind of a problem for where i live; there are HUGE intersections to clear. it's more important to me to be able to accelerate fast than to have a massive top end speed, although i wouldn't mind gaining some top end as well. if i switch over to the circuit, will i likely sacrifice top end to gain low, and will that sacrifice REALLY make much of a difference? does anyone have any opinions on an alternative pipe? suggestions in general for tweaking acceleration? thanks!
