Ugh More Ported metra 65 tuning help?
OK Same setup,
65 metra ported and matched by chris paz, so lets assume thats not the problem, i didnt attack it with a file.
19 del ( 98 main 40 idle needle 2nd to richest) forward facing manifold.

new stator and points ( running kinda in the middle stator position wise.
bike tops at 45 now. It did 50 with the stock kit.....
so today i drop the idle from a 45 to a 40, with still no discernable results. Still comes off idle best with the screw almost all the way in or all the way in. Gotta try a 37 or something tommorow.
SO i gun a homeot 6p on it today to see if maybe the estoril is clogged or maybe the homeot will jest make me fly, but it manages to make the bike even slower..ugh.
Im out of time and light for tuning and the neigbors are gonna throw some thing at me if i drive around the block again.....
Ideas?
Here's my suspect: Ignition timing/ points.
This motor is odd, it doesent really seem to matter where i set the stator...the old stock kit was very sensitive and liked to run at full retard like most metras.
this is a whole new stator/ points / condensor ( a real one with bosch stuff too ) but maybe something is messed up? Moving the stator plate should make a discernable difference, but it doesnt really seem too....
Ideas?
And yeah , i do have a treats cdi i could hum on it but i wanna figure it out.
