Re: the greatest idea...ever?
It's not the greatest idea ever. I refuted it pretty clearly. Read a manual, I'll get on that when I get to work today at my moped repair job. Also about there not being some basic concept of math involved lets have some fun shall we:
50:1 in the tank and 50:1 from the injector
2.6 oz/gal = 50:1 -> 0.019 oz oil / 1 oz fuel (1 gallon of gas +2.6 oz of oil makes 130.6 oz of total fuel)
Then you are mixing this gallon of fuel at a 50:1 oil ratio from the oil pump, so for every gallon of of fuel comes through the carb it pumps in 2.6 oz of oil.
(2.42 oz oil + 2.6 oz oil)/(125.8 oz gas) = 5.02 oz oil/ 0.98 gal gas = 25:1 oil ratio.
What exactly is the purpose of doing this?
