Re: plug gapping
It is helping in indexing the plug with washers to point the charge to where the intake valve lets mix in, usually V8's.
I have these 5 plugs that came with my 1969 AV92. These have two prong side gapped.
One is .017 one is at .025.
If the big one gets fouled at a light in traffic, the smaller one will spark, then when i go wide open it cleans both.
