Jerry I don't live in LA, 90210 land is a joke.
Most timing and jetting Set ups can run a spark plug heat rang spanning from 1 to 2.5 spark plug heat range's.
1# So if your 80 deg whether set up is running a plug on the cold side, with good jetting.
Now it's 40 deg's and your plug tip cant get up to temp and clean/burn off residue building up on it.
The plug will miss lead you into down jetting, now it run's like crap and you get lost with jetting.
2# Now your 80 deg whether set up is running a plug on the hot side with a fat jet.
Now it's 40 deg's out and your plug plug chop is dead on, with good power.
3# Now your 80 deg whether set up is running a worm to dead on plug heat temp rang, jetting is dead on.
Now it's 40 deg's out and your plug plug chop is lean.
Now you need to up jet.
