Yes Nickerbockerif you go to hot and or to lean you can seize.
A hotter spark plug will rise eng temp 10F to 20F deg's and bring things back up to temp on cold days.
The longer hotter tip, plus the bigger charge of air & gas in the plug housing.
Gives a bigger/hotter primer charge.
If your plug is to cold it will look to rich or it fouls up.
As long as uoy have dark ring 2mm wide at the base of your spark plug tip your not to hot.
If it's to hot it will reed lean, with no dark ring 2mm wide at the base of your spark plug tip.
You need to running at temp before you rejet.
On HOT HOT days you need a colder plug to cool things down.
