Re: Reeds and general mods for a Honda NC50 Expres
Hi Jono,
I'll be watching this thread to see how you progress as for my sins...i've recently aquired one of these little dirtbags also (only kidding, i love it really, or should i say, my missus loves it really and has claimed it as her own).
I'm down in deepest dreariest Devon (Sth Hams) its hilly as fk, so i'm after a bit more grunt rather than top end, my critter does 30 or so, stock, is rubbish on hill start but when it gets to speed will cruise happily at 28 on half throttleish on the flat.
As i said my missus has claimed it and i've bought a little Yammy QT50 but thats another story.
I'm in a world of pain at the moment with the express 'cause i snapped a cylinder head stud in the barrel, then i snapped the bolt extractor in the broken stud, took it to a machine shop today and he didnt wanna know, so looks like i've gotta dremel it out or somptin'.
Anyhoo, good luck with your's and maybe we can share some info' on parts suppliers etc in the UK
