Changing the reed material is not the best way to get more speed or power and you probably won’t feel the difference for the time and money invested.
Change the pipe and air filter like Tate said for the best bang for your buck. You will also need to rejet afterwards.
I don't recommend changing the compression ratio considering your self described-limited knowledge regarding tuning two-strokes.
