Idle Jet Size Advice Metra 65
Setup:
rebuilt bottom end, dmp stuffed crank
aluminum welded to case sides to match hogged out metra 65 with bigger transfers.
ported kit
intake and exhust opened and matched.
estoril
im running points
19mm del into the treats intake that faces forward
98 main needle in the middle, 42 idle jet.
There is no air leak. Is it really possible im moving that much air?
It ran better in the low end with a 93 and a 94 but top end it likes the 98 and the plug chops look good.
My bike still runs better with the mixture screw almost all the way in tho, should i drop the idle jet to a 40?
just seems a big dif between a 40 idle and a 98
