About the black plastic restrictor found inside the intake itself- I used a nasty wood drill bit, just slightly smaller than the opening on the intake and had the whole thing out in under a minute. Chewed it out with the drill bit and then the little sleeve of plastic that was left slid right out. Didn't touch the metal at all. Yay!
But yeah reinforce the hell outta everything first. Biggest prob will likely be with swingarm flex. I'm 235 and my daily blaster maxi is gonna need a new bushing soon due to fat ass blasty blast.
