I have ground down my stock head .020, but like you said I lost my squish zone....Although when I was doing it it kept getting faster and faster but lost compression too by not having the correct squish.....I will be more carefull this time around......I don`t ride mine for miles at a time...I just blast around the hood a little. and I do good break in and proper warm ups.....
