Re: honda hobbit stocko shocko extremo 70cc kit
I got my kit today. I will post pics tonight.
Background: 1980 Honda Express NC50 - 15mm Dellorto SHA Replica Carb, Pocket Bike exhaust, K&N style air filter, STOCK reeds.
Does this below sound OK?
I will jet with a number #63 gauge drill bit to start. I will run 40:1 premix for 200 miles. I will use this guide to break in the kit as well. "http://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/discuss/7/165899/165899/":url
Next, I will run a cooler plug. BHP7HS
Then, Im not sure what premix to run after the break in period.
Also, I will plug the oil drain with a rubber plug from Ace Hardware or Home Depot that I can hopefully find.
In the future, I will buy a 2.75 x 14 inch tire with 2.75 x 14 tube for taller gearing. Also, I will buy .4mm hobbit performance reeds and attach them to the NC50 reed cage and grind out the reed cage. Finally, I will deck the head by .025.
----
Does anyone have any advice or tips they can offer me? I have hacked and weld this bike so far and learned a hell of a lot and I can't stop.
Thank you expressmentor, routabit, tate, IRE Rick, graham, samrm, and everyone for posting.
