We can't all have a dyno but could consider your results valid if you could simulate some back to back tests for comparison. Relitive comparison.
Say you put a tach on your moped and carry a stopwatch. Paint two lines on the street a block from each other. Travel tward the first line at 1000 rpms (single speed moped) then hit it as you cross the line, simultanious to starting the stop watch. Stop the watch as you cross the secound line.
A variated machine would have to cross the first line at a specific mile per hour.
