Re: 80cc puch hybrid
what brakes? i have 1 bmx style rear brake that drags so i have to run it very loose.
started it last night, took a while to sort out the e85 jetting and such. ended up drilling the emulsion tube out .020 and the main jet from .039 to .053.
i had adapted some crappy reeds off my pocketbike, knowing full well that would be the biggest restriction in the system. it was. so i built a new reed plate with one large hole instead of two small ones with a divider. used .006 stainless shim stock under the fiber reeds. worked great, got my top end.
this thing pulls so fucking hard i think i'm gonna break something. the pipe worked better than i thought was possible, midrange is better than my top end was before the swap. and high rpm's try to throw me off the bike.
i am having idle problems though, i traced it to an intake leak right before i had to get home last night. i'll address that later this morning, then try to kill myself at the death race. by the way the bike weighs 51 lbs without me.
