I have widened and aimed the whole transfers up on one cylinder and got much better RPM out of it but I will try this method on the next one. I am wondering just how critical blow down degrees need be because even if the combustion pressures back down a bit into the transfers, which under certain conditions they probably do with any timing, when the exhaust moving out the port and later pipe suction acts on the transfers it seems as if the flow is all self regulating anyway. In other words the transfers flow as required by exhaust pressure reduction. I am just saying in the interest of higher RPMs you can raise the the transfers a little on most cylinders and get away with it
