So far mine seems like it won't need any shim grinding, although I'm using a shim I bought from treats (I misplaced the stock one), and I was testing it without the clutch bushing because the clutch bushing (a new one, not the stock one) needs to be sanded a wee bit before it will fit happily over the crank and inside the clutch drum.
