Have you seen my post over on STL about the unstuffing of the stuffed crank? The consensus seems to be that it's really unnecessary to remove the stuffing, because if your stuffing blows, you were probably running hot enough to destroy other things as well (I still would rather not have it in there, though). Although, I have heard that an unstuffed stuffed crank is still more stuffed than an unstuffed crank. Unstuffing it is kind of a bitch IMO, though.
