Ha, I didn't even notice it. My Polini intake measures 34mm from the center of each oval hole. The studs for the Polini kit rest snuggly against the intake, so I'm guessing 30mm from hole to hole on the kit. What did you get when you measured the stock intake port?
I used to run a stock 12mm intake (dremmeled to 13-14) on the kit and it fit perfectly.
