I really like SHAs on stockish bikes, but there is just no real accuracy in tuning them.
Either too rich on the bottom or too lean on top.
I donno about seizing it, but you will have a pretty nasty flat spot somewhere in your acceleration.
A little something I learned about sha tuning is a lot of it is in the airfilter. Different filters and material and thicknesses have different air flow characteristics and different air velocities.
You can sometimes smooth out those nasty sha flat spots by down jetting and adding a layer of pantyhose or upjetting and switching to a thin foam layer or a metal mesh.
