Moped Army

not sure if this should be here or in repair, so I thought I would try both...

Just installed a Polini 64cc kit on my maxi… It ran great for about 5 minutes, then I realized my carb was leaking like crazy. After replacing the needle and bowl gasket, then slightly bending the metal part the needle sits on the leaking stops, and it still runs, but when I go above about 1/3 open throttle, it just shuts off. After looking around online and just from common sense, I would imagine that this is an issue relating to a lack of fuel flow or the like…

Oh, I am running a bing 14mm, don’t know the jet size, but like I said, I was amazed at how well it ran for those few minutes.
