Heat your case and then take a screw driver (one that you don't care about as you may melt it slightly) and put the seal on the shaft. You then tap the screw driver slowly with a hammer . It is nice because you can easily remove the screw driver without wrecking the seal and it has a handle diameter similar to that of the seal so your seal seat evenly.
