Re: tomos a35 - techno estoril - need advice
i heat mine up and bend them to fit.
i do not do it when it's on the bike for fear of breaking the exhaust studs.
i bolt the exhaust to some flatstock them put the flatstock in a vice to hold it while bending. i do this so the vice doesn't crush or mar the pipe. i'll heat it up with a propane torch and bend it a lil at time then unbolt and check it on the bike. it's kind of a pain but the slower you do it the less chance you have of crimping it by bending it too much at once. if you try this take your time, do not be in a hurry...
if yours isn't off by too much you may be able to make a bracket extension outta some flatstock.
the first one i got was only off a lil but the estorils seem to be getting worse at lining up with each new one i get.
