For what it's worth, I'm hitting 55+ on flats with the K-Star 50 and a Homoet 6p.
I've got a bit more headroom with my clutch, but there's really no low end at all.
So it's pretty safe to say that most kits CAN get you to 50; the real question is how quickly you want to get there. That's where displacement comes in handy.
