I like ben's setup. My buddy has almost the same on his freespirit, and it does a nice 45. With a little gearing or porting it would do 50 easy.
I'd say get a real pipe though. Maybe its just my personal hate of the boss, but there are many, much better pipes. Even an estoril but then I guess you lose top end unless you modify it.
Personally I like a polini, 4 petal, 19phbg, and a proma circuit and gearing to get it right up to 50. It will pull off the line hard and rip to 40+ and continue to climb right to 50. I've run a top crank and its meh. I like stock roller bearing cranks most often found in Korado motors, but also other late model maxis. 2 shoe clutches are best, just lighten them a bit and they rip and can last for days.
For either setup, get a 50cc high comp head for sure. Also CDI now that its so cheap and awesome.
