Re: Honda Hobbit Best Path
Clutch springs are the key to your low end. I put a hobbit together with clutch springs, a proma, and a notched variator and it was easily hitting 37mph. My personal bike had a DR, proma, boyensen reeds, clutch springs, notched variator, and 21 PHGB on it. It was a damn spaceship. I would reccomend notched variator over TJT, that thing is more trouble than its worth. You can spend all of your time tuning it and making your own wieghts, changing your rear spring etc, or just take 10 mins to notch your stock variator and spend your time ripping.
