and definitely no disrespect to elliot (his reviews and pictures are excellent), but anybody's setup can be improved slightly, tested.
anyway, here's my build in progress

bidalot variator, medium weights
malossi 70cc aircooled
doppler head
mvt premium cdi (or malossi? last part i need!)
doppler endurance crank
fag bearings
11x48
malossi 4 petal intake (also have polini, but had good success with malossi on puch, so think i'm going with that)
malossi air filter
my last run was with doppler 50 and sha 15, went up to 45. completely rebuilding and went nuts (had to sell my vespa grande for parts).
anyway, will post results when done here for sure.
