Clutch Bell Not Seating
I recently rebuilt an E50 with DMP Stuffed Crank and 3 Shoe Clutch.
After I got the Whole thing back together, I noticed the clutch bell and the crankshaft did not move independently very smoothly. Thus my clutch does not slip as good as it should.
It seems as though the spacers on either side of the bell are too thick with the new crank, so everything is just a tad too tight in there. The bell doesnt seat all the way down.
Has anyone experienced this? I was considering filing down one of the spacers slightly to make everything fit.
Any ideas?
