Re: vespa owners: belt compliaton thread
Bumping an old thread.
Variated ciaos need a totally different belt than a grande or bravo, right?
I am talking about the grande/bravo here.
You guys out there that are running a multivar on a bravo or grande, what is the best belt available here? I don't want a malossi part number, I am looking for like a hardware/car place number.
Sounds like a 6840 auto zone belt would work if you stretched it over night.
I hear people saying the 4l410 slips too much and the 4l400 is too tight and it wont variate all the way. Anyone try a 4l405? I doubt the hardware store stocks these, but the internets have them for cheap enough.
