I am running the Malossi 617223 on my Grande as well - with multivar, but WITHOUT the yellow spring in the clutch. I am eventually going to get the big yellow spring installed and the little clutch springs installed, but I need to buy the tool that holds the clutch so that you can loosen the nut.
Anyway, the belt is working fine for me with my current setup.
