FINAL -- Jetted to 52+ -- FINAL
I could find no info on how the jet size numbers are determined. I too a jet drill set and found the bit that almost fit in the #52. Very close. So I took the next size up and drilled an extra jet to that. It was too big. My top speed was the same, but my pickup wasn't as good. I have no way of knowing, but I'm guessing that would have been the equivilent of a 54 or larger jet.
So then I took the #52 and drilled it out with the bit that was just barely larger than it. So now I'm at a #52+. I don't have it in front of me, but I believe that it was a 0.0225" bit.
The bike still runs just about the same as it did with the #50 jet, but it's getting more than 2 steps more fuel, hopefully keeping my piston and cylinder a good temp. Done.
Also, I've decided that quick plug chops are useless.

The bike runs great! And now when someone like me goes looking for a general idea of how to get a Sito working on a Vespa moped, there will be some answers, and not just questions on threads that disappear without answers.
