What's the diff between the Polini Perfomance air filter and the stock one? Is it just more "open"? It is something that the stock box could be transformed into with a little razor-blading or swiss-cheeseing?
Now you have to try the 13.13 carb for us all :-) That's what those performance filters are made for, so it's probably not suprising that with a smaller jet your performance was sucky.
I ordered a couple of jets from 1977 mopeds - a 48 and 50. Of course, I haven't heard ANYTHING back from them, so maybe I'll have a second chance at ordering a 52 from elsewhere.
