Moped Army

ok, so im at a red light, lights turn green so i stand up to get a pedal start, and my right foot hit pavement, wanna know why? THE FUCKING PEDAL BROKE OFF!! wtf! my left pedal is fine, but now my right pedal is detached from my bike. i managed to salvage the pedal and arm from the side of the road. is the right pedal arm welded to that little sprocket at all? how is it held onto the bike? i dont see how the actual arm attaches to the bike, and i think its been broken for a while, and tonite mustve been the straw that broke the camels back. i almost wiped out in traffic and i need this bike running again. any idea what parts im going to need to get this pedal back on my bike? it looks like a broken weld or something? and wth is that little red nipple thing for? sometimes i hate mopeds, but i love my maxi...
