Plug, bolts rusted beyond hope: How to remove?
Well, here is an experiment, as far as I am concerned.
Found a really rusted Pinto on the street and decided to disassemble it for the experience. Bike was held together with rust and corrosion. (I have some photos for later. Pretty bad.) What hadn't rusted OFF, was rusted ON.
Any ideas how to remove the plug (no longer has nice sharp edges so the plug wrench won't work). Tried removing the 4 head nuts. One came off, the other three suffer from the same issue as the plug: No longer have nice sides to grab with socket.
Any ideas? Would like to see just how far this can go while keeping the parts intact. Carb, intake, driven gear, all clutch stuff still fine but piston frozen and god, the magneto looks like it's been sitting in water for a while. Bike looks like a laugher, but I still am curious at what I may find. Functioning speedo had 11K miles on it.
