New Moby, where to begin?
So I just bought a 78 Moby (50V), but being new to mopeds I am not really sure where to begin. It runs well and speeds up and brakes as expected, lights and horns work and all. But before I ride it 15 miles out of town and it breaks down on me, I'd like to give it a once over and check that everything is as it should be.
What should I clean? What should be replaced?
I know a few things like air filter and belt, but I want to make sure I am thinking of everything.
I have the manual and some mechanical knowledge. I'll be finding someone here in Boston to help me out with anything mechanical, but I'd just like to have a list of things to check over so that I can be prepared, get the needed parts, etc.
I know I'm a NEWB, but any advice is appreciated.
