Garelli motors easy to work on?

 GotSpark (couey) — Nov 06, 2009 06:20PM

Hey all,

Where i'm at, it seems like the only peds i can find are piaggio's and garelli's

I'm also in a small apartment and my set of tools is very minimal and my work space is the curb outside.
I've worked on a ciao before and was able to take apart the engine without pullers and any "special' tools, but i had a work bench and things like a vice and an impact wrench ect. (don't think i will be able to do that now)

I've never worked on a garelli and nobody i know has either.

so back to my question:
Will I be able to take apart a garelli motor with minimal tools?

my tools:(cresent wrench, 6-12mm socket set, flat head screw driver, i can buy more tools but probably nothing that plugs into the wall)

stuff i've been looking at:
