Thanks for the input. I will give the case a good cleaning, looks like I will try to repair it without replacing the crank which will save a TON of time.
If you look at my video, it looks like there is some heat marks/bluing on the crankshaft weights on either side of the rod. It's not too obvious initially, but towards the end of the video I spin the crank and you can see the rest of the weights which look normal and I spin back to the original position and you can see the hot spots. Should I worry about that? The rod doesn't seem to have any play in and out which is most important.
One more questions, how is the crank/rod lubricated if it's sealed off?
