yes you can. the only problem with this is that the connecting rods are generally pressed fit to such tight tolerances. if you push a pin out and a new pin in, you probably wont have the same tolerances as original and therefor would make the rod and piston walk all over the place. to remedy this, Shaw welds then grinds down on big end pin to the crank halves. But its just an a3 so why even bother. It seems like entirely too much time and work for just a connecting rod. Go do yourself a favor and find a cheap a35 from somewhere on here. It'll save ya from alot of headaches and trips to the machinist. Ive had a buddy do this to his a3 because he wanted the 12mm needle bearing and oiling holes from the a35. that shit was scary rattly and and not done correctly. true story
