Moped Army

Brought back life to my Jawa 210 which has been asleep for 22 years. Not without problems though. It keeps on blowing light bulbs, so I took advice from mopedarmy and checked ground connections. Also checked outgoing voltage from the green lead from lighting coils, and it was like 15-18V to ground, and not 6V.

The headlight is not standard 210, it is like from the 207 Babetta. It has three leads, green, yellow and red.

The red lead is connected to the "G" input on the 4prong thyristor Yellow lead goes from headlight to the tail light, as to provide current for it. Probably in parallel with green lead. Green lead comes from the lighting coil, where I measured the high volts above.

Now I wonder where ground connection on the headlight is? Is it grounded to the frame by the bolts that holds the headlight in place? Or any other way?

And one more thing: I have a white lead at the thyristor that is grounded by the screw that holds the thyristor with metal clips. Should there be any more leads to ground than this white one? Anyone has a pic to post?
