Moped Army

Changed my chain and sprockets, just short of 8000 miles. They were making that teletale crunch-pop noise when I rolled it backwards. I've been using aerosol motorcycle chain wax, applied once each week. I'm wondering what kind of chain life other folks get. Using oil is probably not an option for me, as I have 0.6 miles of dirt road before I get to pavement. Just curious.
