Re: Garelli NOI clutch doesn't engage?
ok, so im pretty sure its not any of those problems. ive checked it over multiple times all the parts in it look good.
heres what happens: when i push the starting arm (#1) back, nothing happens, UNTIL i press reaaaally hard and it will finally catch and engage. when i attach the cable, i attach it as tight as i can get it, and the hand lever doesnt create enough pressure to engage it. the only way i can really get it started is to have someone else pull really hard on the actual cable so it pulls the starting arm back really far, and i pedal and then it seems to engage and turn over etc...
what im thinking is that its something to do with the starting arm, i dont know what else it could be. either the spring is screwed up or the arm is messed up or something, i dont know!!
