Re: Stupid motobecane bolt thingy
Tried. Can't. They dont have anything remotely similar. The best I can do is to get a bolt and loctite a nut to the head, then try to drill a hole through the nut and shaft for the brake cable to sit in. Last time I tried to drill a nut it didnt work - something to do with the type of coating or the metal itself. Maybe welding a small washer to a bolt would work, but I dont have access to a welding rig.
Really sucks because right now my rear brake is all spongy, and takes me forever to stop. So I keep my speed to around 15 and stay on side roads, so the likelyhood of having to stop quickly would be very low...
