Re: Kreidler Clutch
Did you see this manual and page 15?
"Kreider Disassembly maunaul":http://www.mopedriders.org/article_view.php?faq=2&fldAuto=28
I bought the tool from overseas including the reinstallation tool.
I think both ways will work.
When the snow falls I will be putting in a clutch I modified the spring on and it was shifting at 14-15mph.
BUT, I chamfered the clutch edges and it is less surface so it slips on big hills.
I will shorten the spring like 5 more coils and put it on a new clutch pad asssy., and try again around december.
I think I have 8 removed now.
I hope it shifts at like 17 or 19...I would love that.
On a Kreidler.
BTW, it takes two people to put a shorter clutch spring back on with clamps and a huge socket.
Comes apart easy like a bike chain, just take care of the spring.
Be carefull.
