last of the interceptors... no not really. But my last derbi for sale.
Its a titled/plated/registered bike.
SOOOOO much money invested, more than i wanna count.
For starters the motor is totally rebuilt
metrakit crankshaft (never find one of these again)
puch gilardoni kit with metrakit 75cc head w/decomp
MVT allumage premium inner rotor cdi w/lighting (bike needs to be wired lights/kill still)
frame has been reinforced at the lower mounting point and runs rubber isolators to reduce vibration to the frame.
tjt variator (has a revolution belt right now which is a little longer, it would be better off with the proper size belt)
polini reeds in gilardoni reed block
custom 24mm intake
TM24 carb (runs 4strokey currently but a full range of jets up to 220 included)
metrakit muffler pipe cut and welded to fit.
Powdercoated metal sidecover (plastic variator side is cracked but useable)
Forks are totally rebuilt and most parts are powdercoated black
5 star mags with 190mm discs installed via custom aluminum adapters. Rear brake is setup with footbrake lever
Front brake needs bracket cut and welded to locate caliper.
the bad:
needs a chain
taillight lens ( base is fine)'
Headlight bucket (glass is missing from the one on the bike)
front brake mounting needs to be finished
tailpiece cracked at one point and was repaired
scratch on right side frame sidecover.
The price is $1800. Thats firm. I dont care if you think its overpriced. I dont wanna trade for anything. I could maybe be pursuaded to send this to SF for the rally, But the buyer would pay all transportation costs.
